Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) provides an important layer of security for your Taskrabbit account.
You are not required to opt into Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to create or use your Taskrabbit account. However, if you need to make changes to an existing account, you will need to opt into 2FA to make updates to your personal information. Once you have made the account updates, you can opt back out of Two-Factor Authentication, if you decide to.
The following account updates require you to opt into Two-Factor Authentication (2FA):
- Personal Info (name, email, phone, zip, country)
- Password
- Credit card via Account > Billing info
Keep in mind: you will need to opt back in any time you wish to make changes to the above information.
